I note that when something like DM780 comes along, we tend to express desires that it add a mode that is not covered. I wonder , is it possible to design a piece of software that would allow the user to add their own modes? I'm thinking of a basic shell with rig control and a waterfall, , then

Think no further: this is something else which I support. The decoder / encoder sits in a DLL with source available. In fact there are two DLLs: one for PSK only (based on Moe's code) and one based on fldigi (I am yet to write this). I plan that DM780 will look at the DLLs in its folder when
