With LCD displays, I don't know as it matters much. I've yet to see a
LCD flicker at 60Hz. (CRTs at 60Hz drive me batty.)
For CRT, I prefer the slowest speed that I can't see the flicker.
Usually about 70Hz. If you push higher, you sometimes loose sharpness
as you push the video and crt drive c
Don't know. It might be a case of sync or swim.

the term native resolution, and run the monitor in that mode (1280/1024
