There has been quite a bit of discussion on HFPack lately. Also MFJ has made some loop tuners, and the cheapest one is $99, so even if you aren't mechanically inclined like PY1AHD or other OMs you can try it out. Watch out for high RF voltages (10KV at 40w, maybe), high currents (20A maybe),

All:   Had a nice 20m Olivia mode QSO with Hanawa, 7N4CDJ. He said he was running 40 watts to a 4 foot diameter magnetic loop made out of 2 inch copper pipe. See QSO text below.   Anyone have experience working HF with small magnetic loops? Was wondering how they compare with say a dipole i
