While this is not "the" graph I was referring to, the last graph on the
web site is very similar in showing Pactor 2 and 3 working down to
inaudible levels. The Pactor 1 mode that is shown working down to about
-5 db S/N uses the SCS product and works better than any of the other
hardware or so

You might find an old PK232 on ebay that has already been upgraded for
that price.
