The IARU EmCom Party is today, Sunday 11 November.

IARU EmCom Party on-the-Air is an *emergency communication
exercise*, not a contest. Sponsored by IARU
(International Amateur Radio Union), the objective
is to promote readiness for international emergency
disaster communications.

Hams using ALE can participate by operating their
stations from 0001 UTC to 2359UTC on 11 November and
linking up for QSOs.

This event encourages voice SSB QSOs with other stations
who are participating.

This gives us all an occasion to meet fellow ALE
operators for SSB voice contacts on the air.
Participating stations may also add the /D suffix to
their callsign for voice ID only wherever allowed.
(But /D is not used for your ALE callsign)

The HFL net call or individual calls on ALE can be
used to start SSB voice QSOs directly on the
ALE Emergency/Voice Channels:
1845.0 USB GLOBAL
3791.0 USB GLOBAL
5403.5 USB REGIONAL
7065.0 USB REGIONAL
7185.5 USB GLOBAL

14346.0 USB GLOBAL
18117.5 USB GLOBAL
21437.5 USB GLOBAL
24977.5 USB GLOBAL
28312.5 USB GLOBAL
kHz

Normal ALE sounding will be used on the usual pilot
channels, and AMD message can be used to QSY to a voice channel.

frequencies are used for the IARU EmCom Party, including
some of the IARU special event stations around the world:
