Hi Tom, The HFLINK group has been serving as frequency coordinator for ALE in the Amateur Radio Service: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hflink However, with the limitation of "USB voice only" for 60 meters in USA, hams here cannot transmit ALE on the 60m channels (5.3 and 5.4MHz), but instead only monitor 5MHz for emergency purposes. The possible exception is the 5MHz Alaska Emergency channel. Here is the current HFLINK channel listing for ALE/SELCALL: CH FREQKHZ PURPOSE 00 1986.0 DATA 01 1996.0 VOICE 02 3626.0 DATA 03 3996.0 VOICE 04 5371.5 EMERG 05 5403.5 EMERG 06 7101.0 DATA 07 7241.0 VOICE 08 7296.0 VOICE 09 10142.5 DATA 10 10146.0 DATA 11 14107.5 DATA 12 14342.5 VOICE 13 14346.0 VOICE 14 18106.0 DATA 15 18157.5 VOICE 16 21096.0 DATA 17 21437.5 VOICE 18 24926.0 DATA 19 24977.5 VOICE 20 28146.0 DATA 21 29282.5 VOICE NOTE: ALL Channels are USB 73---Bonnie KQ6XA The K3UK DIGITAL MODES SPOTTING CLUSTER AT telnet://208.15.25.196/ Discussion Forums at http://www.obriensweb.com Yahoo!
