Hi Tom,

The HFLINK group has been serving as frequency coordinator for ALE in
the Amateur Radio Service:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hflink

However, with the limitation of "USB voice only" for 60 meters in USA,
hams here cannot transmit ALE on the 60m channels (5.3 and 5.4MHz),
but instead only monitor 5MHz for emergency purposes. The possible
exception is the 5MHz Alaska Emergency channel.
