Direct Client Product Design & Development Engineer (Frame chassis design position)
Location: Farmington Hills, MI Long Term Responsibilities include: 1. Products: Frames- side rail, cross-member and frame hanging parts 2. Role: perform all engineering activities. It includes: a. Market study & benchmarking b. Product spec. study and performance/cost/weight target draft c. Development gateway management d. Lead & manage design engineering outsource e. Concept design to final design and design review with DRBFM f. Prototype build support and DVP&R Requirements: Education: • BSME related degree required Experience: • 3-5 years in Mechanical Engineering required. • 3-5 years experience using CAD (CATIA V5) required. • 3-5 years class 7-8 truck design experience required.
