*Job Title: Technical Consultant(Mainframe Prod Support)*

*Location: Atlanta, GA*

*Duration: 6 Months *



*Overview:*

Technical Consultant is primarily responsible for providing technical
system knowledge and assistance for simple to moderately simple issues
focused around an assigned business area.  In particular this role conducts
triage support for failed test cases and helps in managing a list of
Production tickets. This role also contributes to the organization's
performance by working with other knowledgeable experts to help customers
to understand the product functionality and providing technical support
assistance, defect fix reviews, and to assist in proposing solutions in a
timely manner in order for customers to meet their business goals.



*Responsibilities:*

Analyze business, generate requirements and production support for
*CXT *(clinical
editing software).



*Essential Roles and Responsibilities:*

·         Works with vendors to prioritize simple/moderately simple
production tickets based on impact to customer in order to assist in
providing solutions in a timely manner.

·         Provides assistance in triage support for any production and
testing tickets related to the assigned business area applications in order
to remove defects pre-production and ensure the application will work
according to the requirements.

·         Provides system support to test teams and customers for assigned
business area regarding system functionality.

·         Performs operations support responsibilities (as applicable)

·         Supports more advanced individual in implementing workarounds and
short term solutions so customer can continue their business activities
without interruption while issues are being resolved.

·         Assists with technical impact analysis on enhancement projects to
product and project teams.

·         Generates daily defect reports to higher management.

·         Assists in providing  support for assigned business area new
patch deployments and batch configurations.

·         Configures applicable applications as appropriate to run jobs for
each Plan.

·         Assists in developing test plans and test scenarios to make sure
that new release or patch is meeting all requirements and there is no
critical impact on customer.

·         Assists in reviewing  efixes received daily from Vendors for
defect tickets so these can be deployed and ready to test on time.

·         Creates CSRs for defect fixes from Vendors.

*Additional Roles and Responsibilities:*

·         Assists in defining work flow or process flows within the
department in order to streamline and increase efficiencies.

*Qualifications:*

·         Minimum of 2 years' experience with CXT, Claim Check, IHealth
Evicore or other Clinical Editing tools.



*Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:*

·         Knowledge of NPS, FTP, PDM, Clearquest, JCLs

·         Knowledge of TSO Mainframe and how to copy, create, duplicate,
delete, edit, download, and upload data-sets

·         Knowledge of creating SQL queries and executing in DB2

·         Knowledge of the Healthcare Insurance industry

·         Decision making skills to use good judgment in critical times

·         Ability to manage and prioritize workload based on impacts to the
customer

·         Ability to facilitate meetings with Customers and Vendors

·         Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements

·         Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis on technical
systems

·         3-5  years of experience related to software development
life-cycle methodology.

·         3-5 year combined experience in software development and software
implementations on mainframe, mid-tier, and integrated applications.



*Desired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience:*

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Visio.

·         Knowledge of UML
