*Job Description/Job Duties: *Our client is currently moving their storage
environment away from Hitachi and towards EMC in a SAN environment. In
this role you will be responsible for the support of a robust and efficient
storage environment. It will be your responsibility to create, deliver and
provide support for internal and external projects. You will also be
performing such tasks such as installation, configuration and upgrading of
the storage environment.
Some other job duties include….
· Provide subject matter expertise, and advice for technology
· Represent team in projects, empowered to make project decisions
· Maintain software applications, operating systems, firmware and
hardware through regular maintenance.
· Support assigned projects and install and implement in accordance
to project objectives and design standards
· Perform monitoring tasks to pro-actively review and maintain the
storage estate and where possible develop automation tasks to improve
organizational efficiencies
*Skills and Qualifications:*
· 5+ years of experience with Storage Area Network (SAN), Network
Attached Storage (NAS), Content Addressable Storage (CAS), and Backup &
Recovery experience
· 5+ years of experience with Provisioning, Planning, Proactive
Maintenance, Monitoring, and Audit & Compliance experience with SAN, NAS,
CAS, and Backup and Recovery environments
· High availability and Disaster Recovery experience
· Problem, Incident, and change management

technologies
· Experience with server and network technologies
· ITIL
· Lean Sigma or equivalent
