*Location: Monterey Park, CA*

*Duration: 1 Year*



September 2015 thru September 2016



*Qualifications:*
Two (2) years relevant experience in IP communication solution design (LAN,
Wireless LAN, WAN including MPLS, Data Center Fabrics, microwave transport,
field area networks, and converged data/voice networks) and architecture *for
large enterprises (up to 10,000 users*), *five (5) years preferred*.


* At least one (1) year of leadership experience as a major project or
program technical lead or systems*

*engineer.*



Consulting experience strongly preferred.

Valid professional-level industry certification from a major network
manufacturer (Cisco, Juniper, etc) required.

Recent hands-on experience with Juniper-based solutions strongly preferred.

Demonstrated knowledge of the gas and electric utility industry and its
regulatory environment strongly preferred.

Must be capable of passing a comprehensive background screening for access
to critical cyber assets.

Travel may be required within the service territory (not to exceed 200
miles one-way from primary location) and requires candidate have reliable
transportation.

Initial interview may be conducted by phone, but final interview will be
on-site.

*Responsibilities:*
*Equivalent industry title is Network Engineer I or II. While engaged in
projects, leads and advises the project and line management organizations
on the selection of technology, sourcing strategy, and coordinates
tradeoffs of scope, schedule and budget with the project manager.
Responsible for developing and documenting requirements solicited from
business and IT clients, developing designs and solutions that are
validated to meet client requirements. Solutions will be documented with
deliverables appropriate for the engagement and may include (but not
limited to), requirements documents, design drawings (Visio), detailed
design narratives, test/validation plans, change orders, component failure
impact analysis (CFIA) documentation, implementation method of procedure
(MOP) documents. In rare circumstances, it may be necessary to support
Network Operations during high-incident volumes or advanced troubleshooting*
