Job Title : Project Manager III *Location : Trenton, NJ* *Duration : 12 months* *Citizenship Status:* US Citizen preferred; Green Card considered *Role/Responsibilities:* As the *MATRX PMO Risk and Issue Project Manager*, candidates must perform the following: · Trains, coaches and collaborates with project team members on issue and risk management. · Supports the implementation and management of the governance process to manage risks and issues. · Maintains a project level risk register (on Client Sharepoint site - must be onsite) · Facilitates risk and issue review meetings with individual functional leads and appropriate team members. · Responsible for continuous issue and risk assessment, tracking, and management: o Performing the identification, analysis, resolution and closure of issues throughout the life of the project. o Performing the identification, analysis, mitigation and contingency planning for risks and the management of the risk and associated handling plan throughout the life of the project. · Tracks and manages issues and risks (on Client Sharepoint site - must be onsite) in coordination with the Client as well as internally. · Generates weekly issue and risk reports for metric reporting as defined in the Communication Plan, as well as adhoc, as needed by leadership. · Communicates progress, escalations, and analysis to project stakeholders. · Escalates critical issues and risks as defined in the Communication plan. · Coordinates the identification, tracking, escalation if necessary, and closure of all project Action Items. · Maintains the Issue and Risk Management Plan(s), and supports / enforces HP Policies and Procedures. *Education/Experience Requirements: **MUST HAVE* · Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent · PMP/PMI certification preferred · 6+ years Project Management experience in a Software Development Environment · 6+ years of overall IT/SDLC experience *Skills Required**: **MUST HAVE* · Experience with using MS Project 2010 and Sharepoint to create, manage, and track project results and uncertainty. · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. · Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Ability and experience presenting to Sr. Management. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Hot List" group.
