The candidate will lead one of the remaining two releases being delivered by the client’s internal Program, managing the planning, tracking, and reporting of work across a team of more than 25 program team members in addition to a large number of subject matter experts. The project manager will report to the Program Lead and will coordinate activities with other Project Managers as needed. *Skills:* The Program is seeking a senior-level Project Manager with 5+ years of experience on IT projects, preferably in the Pharma industry. The candidate will lead one of the remaining two releases being delivered by the Program, managing the planning, tracking, and reporting of work across a team of more than 25 program team members in addition to a large number of subject matter experts. The project manager will report to the Program Lead and will coordinate activities with other Project Managers as needed. · Manages planning, controlling, and reporting of a company release in terms of timelines, issues, and risks. · Creates and maintains a detailed project plan for the assigned release, tracking progress against the plan and reporting accomplishments, risks and delays to the Core Team. · Responsible for assigning and controlling the release activities to members of the multicultural, global, remote, and virtual program organization. · Manages their company Release Team by chairing team meetings and performing issue, risk, and problem management. · Able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including up to VP level and senior management on the Program Steering Committee.
