*Duties:*
IT Operations application engineer expected to perform information system analysis and systems administration tasks in support of the Quality Operations Application Engineering team. This position will participate as a member of a work group or project team to meet business and technical requirements; and provide technical advice for internal, external, and offsite personnel in support of business objectives.
*Major Accountabilities :*
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components with the ability to
architect, troubleshoot, and explain topics related to operating systems,
network components, SAN technologies. . Provide production support to ensure
the timeliness, accuracy and availability of departmental production systems
and data/information. Develop and review technical and quality documentation
associated with support systems. Adhere to company quality systems documents,
SOPs, and various regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on strong documentation
practices.

*Required Skills :*
- Microsoft Windows Server OS administration - 2000,2003, 2008
- Network connectivity and services - FTP, TCP/IP DNS, DHCP
- Experience with application support:
- Web - IIS, Apache
- Citrix Terminal Server
- Database connectivity - Oracle, SQL
- Storage - SAN/NAS
- Experience with server administration in virtualized environments.
- Proficient in validation and qualification aspects of IT systems.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to facilitate
technical solutions and complex business problems.
