This includes providing insight and guidance on overall system design, as well as working with the development team and infrastructure solving complex technical and application software issues.
The Senior Oracle OBIEE developer will be a go to person for Oracle OBIEE development and expertise. They are responsible for working as part of a team and be able to be productive in a fast paced dynamic environment. This position requires someone who is hands-on with recent implementation experience with Oracle application development and business intelligence tools and technologies. * * *Specific Deliverables:* * * Design, develop and support components developed in OBIEE and related Business Intelligence technologies Assist in setup and configuration of related tools and technologies across dev, test and production environments Working with team to support operational business processes *Experience Required:* At least 4 years of specialized experience in the design and implementation of reporting solutions with Oracle OBIEE technologies, with a high degree of maturity in complex report development including mapping capabilities. OBIEE 11g experience a plus At least 2 years recent experience in implementing web based BI solutions for internet, extranet and intranet Experience in OBIEE and oracle technologies in a Linux environment Experience designing and developing public facing business intelligence sites, including portals, dashboards, basic reports (charts, graphs, maps, drill downs) and advanced reports (ad-hoc reporting, maps, etc.). Experience in reporting data and warehouse design Experience in web technologies including weblogic web and application servers Experience in javascript and java technologies. Proven effective execution experience in high visibility, high criticality programs with multiple stakeholders both within and outside of the client organization State and or federal government experience helpful, but not mandatory Experience in ETL technologies, oracle ODI, a plus. *Skills Required:* Design, implement, and support business intelligence and application solution using Oracle OBIEE and related products. Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors and requirements in focus Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment Ability to understand the big picture and direction as well as maintaining a good grasp in understanding the detailed requirements and nuances of the solution. Ability to work in a team environment supporting technical and project aspects of team related to assigned work.
