Java Portal Lead Developer with JSP, Struts and Oracle PL/SQL experience
required.Excellent knowledge of accepted engineering practices. Good
analytical skills; the ability to prioritize projects; good oral and
written communication skills; and good interpersonal skills. Previous
telecommunications industry experience helpful. The following skills are
helpful but not required Toad, Mercurial, JIRA, TeamCity, Scrum/Agile
development.
• 8+ years of experience in a Java environment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer facing Enterprise web
portal design and
development in a Java environment.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in large scale enterprise portal
design and development in a Java environment.
Responsibilities include portal project expansion, enhancement, support,
and maintenance of a customer self-service web portal for a large
telecommunication provider. Experience in eliciting and documenting
Business Requirements, design - wireframe, Markup - quick prototyping,
Conversion/migration strategy from one platform to other,
developing/driving an implementation roadmap, Single Sign-On (SSO)
concepts, and integration through Enterprise Businessware to other legacy
applications preferred
