Thanks to all for your feedback. I decided to forgo the NAS and purchased a
Meerkat Ion NetTop from System76 instead. Price is right, it has gigabit
Ethernet, and instead of serving media through the Xbox 360, I'll just hook
it directly up to the home theater. Plus I like supporting these guys

IIRC there was a discussion a week or so ago about IPv6. It looks like
Comcast is currently running a 6to4 Tunnel for their customers. I switched
to a new router tonight (Netgear WNDR3700) which with a firmware update had
IPv6 support. Not knowing what support Comcast had, I changed the setting
'm trying to set the CPU speed to "full blast" on my 10.04 system, but
it keeps degrading to slower speeds. I read up and stopped the ondemand
service which is what I thought was changing it, but it still changes on
me.
