Anyone have a Nokia cell phone charger sitting in a junk drawer that they'd be willing to bring to the next BLU meeting?
My Nokia N810 tablet (precursor to the smart phone) still gets some use as a podcast player, but the tiny 2.0mm plug on its charger got physically damaged. You'd think this would be an easy fix, but no one sells the plug. You can, of course, get the whole charger - OEM or after market - the latter for about $5. But I figure there must be a lot of these charges lying around that came with now decommissioned Nokia flip and candybar phones. So why not save one from being recycled. It seems Nokia made a bunch of different charger models, but most with the 2.0mm barrel connector adhere to their "2-mm DC Charging Interface"[1]. The AC-15U seems to be a common model[2]. Email me off list if you have one you are willing to part with and plan to attend the next BLU meeting (this week).
