Sarbanes-Oxley applies to financial accounting, does it not? And the sending of an email is generally not recorded in the financial records of a business. What do the two have to do with each other? What am I missing? I am neither an American nor an accountant (not even a bookkeeper <grin />), so please deal gently with my ignorance. My intention here is not to resist improvements to LibreOffice. Rather, I am questioning the basis for your words "horrified" and "appalling".
