Their consensus driven environment provides an exciting learning experience with highly talented individuals who enjoy what they do and who are dedicated to making a profound difference in the world. *Senior User Experience Designer* Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Provide leadership for new design initiatives, combining innovative and strategic skills with artistic and creative talent to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions - Focus on the usability and aesthetic qualities of design for applications, sites and mobile interfaces that is developmentally feasible and solves clients' problems - Create storyboards, mockups and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction, design ideas, and UX deliverables - Develop competitive assessments and perform site heuristic reviews - Define UX performance metrics (error rate, abandon rate, average number of clicks, perceived easiness, etc.) for every project to track its success - Knowledge of and unbounded appetite for current and emerging web technologies - Strong sensitivity toward content and storytelling Ideal candidate will possess 7 - 10 years of interaction design experience for web applications, solid understanding of user centered design principles and how it applies in the real-world, understanding of how code affects design (and vice versa), excellent communication skills and strong attention to pixel-perfect detail. In addition, HTML/CSS/JS experience is desired. Bachelors or Masters in HCI, Human Factors, Design and Technology or related field is preferred. Candidates must have experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; must have the ability to conform to shifting priorities and to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
