I'm doing some study on the relevancy on Aesthetics to HCI, mainly
how Aesthetics can help improve usability of software.
Does anyone has any knowledge or would like to express their views on

Apart from the recent "Design & Emotion" work Don Norman has been
pushing forward (mentioned in the link Mike Myles just posted), I
would definitely recommend taking a look at the work of Noam
Tractinsky, from Ben-Gurion University:
