Get a high-level overview of an overall process
for spec’ing the UX for complex web

platforms. We'll describe some deliverables
produced by Interaction Designers, Information
Architects, and Usability practitioners.

WHEN: Thursday Feb 21, 2008

WHERE: Auraria Campus near downtown

DETAILS:

Cathy Barnes and Laurie Lamar from Industrial
Wisdom will present an extreme overview of a methodology for:
    * Gathering business requirements and user requirements
    * Creating UX deliverables such as concept
maps, personas, use cases, flow maps, site maps,
wireframes, prototypes, and usability studies
We'll talk about deciding which aspects of this
process should be emphasized or downplayed for a
given project. Finally, we'll discuss the
factors that influence the methodology’s success – starting with you.

Though this presentation is aimed at technical
communicators, experienced IxDs, IAs and UXDs may
also find it interesting to compare with their own methodology.
