So, this seems to gel with what people have said, in that it is both tangible and possibly doable for Feb, and also a framework rather than just a one-off. As a next step, maybe we generate a list of things we'd like to be able to do with it? please feel free to chip in to the list below.

I really like this idea. I would like to see it coupled with a means by which several IxDA members could team up to work on them. I wouldn't likely have the resources to take on a project on my own, but I would be interested in contributing to a project as you have been discussing here.
