User Researcher

Bestica is looking for a User researcher with a good understanding of SOA
for the world's leading software company. How passionate are you about
improving the interactions of people, processes and technology? Our client's
User Experience (UX) team researches how people interact with technology,
businesses processes and applies that knowledge to advance our next
generation SOA platform, tools and developer framework. 

 

 

 Minimum Qualifications: 

. At least three years business experience 

. At least 5 years experience in planning, conducting and reporting on User
Centered Design activities, including usability testing, heuristic
evaluations, cognitive walk throughs, task analysis, persona development,
survey, focus groups, interviews, etc.  

. Practical experience proactively mentoring peers and stakeholders in
design and usability best practices

. Experience and passion for presenting user research / usability data to
broad audiences and successfully driving improved designs

. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience 

. Expertise in typical design software 

. Advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction, Instructional Design,
Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Arts or similar field

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

. Experience with integration software is a major plus

. Experience as a software developer a major plus

. Experience with highly technical user groups a plus.
