Has anybody used http://www.feng-gui.com or have any thoughts on it? A
colleague sent me some analysis using the site's services and I'm not sure
what to think of it. I'm inclined to think that at best it's not nearly as
good or rich as actual user research (though at low cost); at worst
Feng-gui's free analysis is not worth the investment.

I've tried it with a website screenshot. According to the simulation,
one banner and one logo will get almost all fixations, while text and
content will get none.
I guess it may be a great tool if you need to keep marketing people
happy.

Has anyone taken a serious look at this tool? http://www.feng-gui.com/
It uses artificial intelligence to create heat maps that are supposed to
replicate what one would see with eye tracking.
Some of the developers in my shop have gotten a hold of it. I have yet to
see a heat map that makes
The algorithm seems more focused on the colors you use and how clustered the
screen elements are, but it doesn't understand the context. I uploaded a pic
of a hot bikini bade on a red background some half a year ago, and it
indicates that the eye would focus only on the background, and none given
