My name is Dwight Louis Velasco, currently a senior Applied Physics
undergrad at the University of the Philippines Manila. I am looking forward
to opportunities to contribute to GDAL in this year's GSoC.

The State of the Map 2019 [1] is going to come to Heidelberg (Germany)
from September 21-23, 2019. The HOT Summit [8] will be September 19 –
20, 2019.
The call for State of the Map 2019 presentations is now open. The
deadline is: 25th April 2019. There will be a separate call for
submissions
