David has been an active member of the OSGeo Spanish community[2] and the Madrid Geoinquietos local group[3] for several years. Apart from advocating for Open Source Geospatial on his daily activities as GIS expert and trainer, he's also active collaborator of the OSGeo Live project translating documentation for the Spanish spoken community.
