GODAN, in partnership with Plan4All and the UN FAO  and in the context of the 
ongoing Kampala and Dubrovnik Inspire Hackathons  are delighted to offer a FREE 
online training session on Thursday 23 April at 13h00 CEST.


During the session, participants can learn about the tools available through 
the SmartAfriHub platform, new mapping tools using QGIS, as well as a range of 
other tools useful in data mapping and related activities. All solutions 
included in the training are entirely Open Source, with a view to providing 
inspiration and guidance to developers at a local level.


The training will also include:


  *   Data needs in African agriculture and potential resources
  *   A demonstration of how SmartAfriHub can help to solve data problems 
through the involvement of citizens
  *   Future direction for SmartAfriHub and African SDI
  *   Q&A
