On behalf of the global ICA-OSGeo-ISPRS labs network, we are pleased to 
announce  the launch of University of Gloucestershire Open Geospatial Lab (GOGL)

The University of Gloucestershire has an ambitious vision for open source 
geospatial education and research, a vision that will be driven and delivered 
through GOGL, a collaboration between the University's Countryside and 
Community Research Institute (CCRI) http://www.ccri.ac.uk   and its School of 
Natural and Social Sciences.  The lab is led by Dr Robert Berry and will 
continue to develop, strong links with other organisations and individuals from 
both within and outside of the University, and we encourage anyone with an 
interest in this initiative to contact Rob at osgeo...@glos.ac.uk
