Hi All, I realise that the question of funding open source GIS development is a massive topic, but having read https://lukasa.co.uk/2015/08/Funding_OSS/ and following some of the links in the article (eg http://www.drmaciver.com/2015/08/throwing-in-the-towel/) I'm curious about how many people within the OSGeo "community" are using Patreon ( https://www.patreon.com/). In light of discussions we've all had over the last few years about how to get companies etc to financially support open source development, I'd like to know whether Patreon is a possible option.
