Hi, had an odd thing today, I was streaming radio and using BroadVoice
at the same time. It was probably a fluke, but I would have around 2
minutes plus of phone time and the VOIP would poop out. It happened 3
times before I stopped the streaming radio.

that wasn't there in my ID3 v2.3 tags. I tracked that down to
differing ID3 v1.x tags in the files. After removing all v1.x tags
from my mp3 files (and leaving only the "real" v2.3 tags) and a "wipe
cache" all was fine again.

I just got my SB2 today, and it's quite happy talking to my Meridian
861 (coax S/PDIF). And it sounds great too. So at least it doesn't
seem to be a wide spread problem. I'm also not in the affected mac
address range, so perhaps that does explain what demoleon is
experiencing.

Update. I boxed Belkin for return and my good old D-Link 614 put back
in. SB1 is connected instantly everytime I re-power it. No loss of
connection. It seems that Belkin Pre-N has some problems in certain
surroundings (i.e. Linksys router is in the vicinity).

A pony might be easier but..how about a portable player with limited
local storage (big buffer/cache) and a 3G or better celular connection
to stream from slimserver. Service charges might kill you that would
truly be a portable squeezebox. The worlds first celular streaming MP3

Both my server and my router are online 24/7. The wierd thing is that
the clock on the SB2 was progressing but instead of taking one second
to advance one second it took more like 5 seconds. Very strange.

Or, stop being such a cheapskate and invest in a couple of secondhand
SB1s.. they are going pretty cheap on eBay.

It's usually dark when I need to press the sleep button on my remote

Agreed. In my mental to-do list of things to change when I get round to
hacking the code, adding display of the number of albums in each
category is right at the top, alongside the ability to tick a few
genre's and say play, or tick a few and say play everything else. I'm
