Just in case this helps anyone else who has a similar problem and does a
search in these forums I had been hiding my SSID, and recently read
somewhere that hiding the SSID could sometimes cause problems with WPA.
I can't see the logic there, but I gave it a whirl and voila, suddenly
my WPA see
I have a ten year old girl. Are there are sources for Radio Disney
streaming that are compatible w/ the slim player?

Care to elaborate on anything you needed to do, if anything, to get the
Squeezebox to recognize Slimserver on Vista? Security on Vista is
supposed to be pretty tight by default.

Look for an x86 linux or BSD binary. Shouldn't have to compile anything,
just copy things into their respective folders.

Have there been any posts about ways to generate statistics from the
slimserver database? I could not find any when searching on reports
and/or statistics. I realized that I could query the database, but I
was looking for something simple like an xml export or some way to
create crosstab type re
straight SQL. For example, how many albums / songs per genre
classification?
When I browse my collection this information is given at the web pages
top. For further statistics you could use ODBC to connect to the MySQL
database.
