You have a marginal wireless network? Perhaps there is some
interference which is greater where the TP is, or maybe the different
aerials in the TP are proving that bit more effective for you?
First step is to try some different wireless channels - 1 or 11/13
(depending on where you are).
There´s a very annoying click sound each time the web contents is
refreshed. How can I remove this? I´ve not been able to find a solution
either using a slimserver setting or in the browser (Internet Explorer).

That sounds like marginal reception to me as well.
Try changing the channel on the router: most routers come defaulted to
channel 6, which means yours is going to get interference from your
neighbors if everyone left theirs at 6. Try channel 1 or 11, which
share no frequency space with 6.

Hello-
Player has been working flawlessly until this morning when I noticed
the display was blank. Power back on to a dim looking display and start

The remote was also difficult in responding.
I got my n770 from buy.com today. It has SW version 2.2006.39-14.
Should I upgrade the SW in the n770? How do I upgrade the SW?
I am still seeing about a 10 second delay using the N770 with the 770
SS skin. It is much faster when I use the default skin. I've tried all

Dear all,
I bought a Squeezebox 3 some days ago. I don't use Slimserver, but
Squeezenetwork only. Today I took the SB3 from one room to another and
tried to switch on the gadget. I saw the Logitech-logo and after that
some suspicious signs followed. I did it again, but the same was

You can't return it?

Hmmm, unplugged the squeezebox again but waited an hour and now it's
playing. Also, realized that the idle brightness got reset to zero when
the screensaver kicked in, hence the blank screen.

Hmmm, I am not happy. I have had my squeezebox litrally around a month

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the quick reply. After having the unit unplugged for 10
minutes the display has come back on.
I am now worried there is some intermitant fault with the unit. I think
because the unit is older than a month, the retailer will refer me to
Logitech.
I am unsure what to do now
It is warrantied for 2 years.
If it does it again, please contact Logitech support and arrange a
return.

Install NetStumbler to see what channels your neighbors are using.
Usually 1 or 11 is safe. Sometimes 6 is safe. Sometimes they're all
taken, and then you'll have to go with the weakest interfering signal,
antenna modifications, asking your neighbors to change their settings,
etc. But until

If artistsort is unset, it defaults to artist.
So if you have:
Clapton: ARTIST=Eric Clapton ARTISTSORT=Claption, Eric
and
Mangione: ARTIST=Chuck Mangione
Then, yes, you will see that behavior.
Solution is to decide if you want to use artistsort or not... which
would mean updating tags. I
