[slim] TP phase inversion and firmware updates

Hi. I am using the Tranporter with firmware version 27 (and Slimserver 6.5.1 running on a QNAP 101). When I try using the phase invert feature, I get digital distortion on load or musically rich passages. The fix is to not use this feature and reverse speaker cables. But does anyone know what is h

I have a squeezebox v3 (firmware version 81) connected via 802.11b to slimserver 6.5.4. It plays Ogg just fine, but when I try to play FLAC it has very severe rebuffering problems. If I pause the player for 10 seconds and then press play, I get about 15 seconds of trouble-free playing before the

My IMAC crashed again after my last post so I uninstalled slimserver. Interestingly it hasn't crashed since. I think I'll see if that keeps up into tomorrow and evaluate if I'm going to go straight back into Airport hell or not. I may try the Linksys switch first to see if my IMAC runs slimserv

[slim] UK Replacement Remote - How?

Hi, My wife did a small test regarding the ability of a new style SB remote to withstand a drop of about six feet on to a wooden floor. It does not appear to be designed for this type of use and has broken. Subsequently I need a new one. On visiting the acessories page I note that Slim Devices don
