wireless? You really need to do that FIRST so you know which route to

Regarding the maxbitrate setting, I guess it is perhaps not relevant
in this case. The Server Settings reveal that FLAC files are streamed
as FLAC. The Player Settings show Bitrate Limiting = No Limit. Sorry
for misleading you.

I have had most of the problems mentioned in earlier posts (difficulty
to get the SB3 to start, disconnects, slow remote control response,
sync problems, etc.)
I changed to static IP-adress for my SB3 which is connected via WLAN.
All problems I had was solved!!!
I run 6.5.4. I have both
The only differense between the three playlists are that the first two
tracks have same ip, and different ports, and the third have slightly
different IP and the same port.
So there should not be a firewall problem since the third track have
the same port.

If you are using SlimServer 6.5.x then try using the WikiRadio/Mypicks
plugins to
Version 6.3.1 and firmware of 55 is the combination that works the best
for me. Not perfect, but usable without reaching that threshold of
insane actions against a defenseless piece of electronics.

Hey there. I just upgraded the latest version of the Slimserver
software and now my slimserver does not show music by artists or
anything else besides Albums. Does anyone have any ideas on this

That depends - are you using iTunes with slimserver? If not, then
there's no need to upgrade iTunes. If you are, then I can't help you on
that one.
Try doing a complete clear and rescan. It could be that the database is
somehow out of whack after the upgrade. If that doesn't work, try

I've got the same problem - Playlists show up in text editors, but are
empty in Slimserver 6.5.4 on a linkstation with Freelink v1.11
installed.
1) I can create and save working playlists using the web GUI.
2) Old playlists, with bcorrect/b paths do not work, but show up
in text editors.

I have tried using mplayer on Vista to get around the Quicktime issue
but have had no success. The problem appears to be that mplayer is
being executed directly without calling socketwrapper first, as a
result, all that happens is a nice BIG file called #PIPE# is created
on my hard drive!
I can not find any information on site and forums about computer
hardware requirements for great number simultaneously playing
squeezeboxes (8/10/20 or 32). I mean multizone audio multiroom mode.
