On the PC side it's latest Microsoft Media Player with network sharing
enabled. On the TV side it's Home Media Gallery feature built into
Pioneer plasma TV.
I won't say that WMP+Pioneer combinatio

Although there is built in internet radio functionality on
SqueezeNetwork I struggle to use it as I have no broadband where I live,

I've made a stab at the AppleScript required for the plugin to work on
the Mac which are
1) get the names of all the playlists from iTunes
2) get the location of the first track in a specific playlist
Please give it a try and let me know if it does anything!

The Roku emulation of an SB1 is a bit dodgy. This is one cure for one
instance of the "No sound" symptom. Make sure after factory reset of
Roku that when you subsequently start SC you manually select on Roku
firmware version 40.

Hadn't seen the Playlist Mode before. Currently it is set to "Off" and
all is behaving normally, although it is not clear to me whether it
should be set to Disable/Off/On for normal use.
However I am not sure this is the problem since, when the setup is

I am running the latest Beta firmware from Roku and SC 7.3.3 - 26488.
All looks good. I can control the Roku via SC, Controller or iPeng.

If you're also looking because you want a single remote to control your

has more functionality than the older 1000 model, and I think users
generally like it better.
But the earlier posters are correct, it's not a replacement

Or an iPod touch with an app to control SqueezeCenter remotely. The
total price is around the same as a Harmony 1000.
