Had the exact same thing happen to me once, except I didn't lose a tweeter. It was the middle of the night though. Had left the amp on. Pretty sure a factory & Xlinx reset sorted it out. This was on a unit that had been dropped on to hard floor. It eventually (year or so later) died proper

At the risk of being scavengerly, may I ask if this worked? The reason is that while my SB3s are still working OK, one of the IR remotes is slowly dying. If you end up with a dead SB3 and no longer have any use for the remote, I may be interested in purchasing it. -- eq72521 -

Good, so the usb device truely does not support 44100 Hz sample rate. Yes, to use the dmix device you must first find it in the output device list from squeezeslave -L then use the number with the -o option. From my list below I'd use -o14 on the command line. Code:
