Had the exact same thing happen to me once, except I didn't lose a
tweeter. It was the middle of the night though. Had left the amp on.
Pretty sure a factory & Xlinx reset sorted it out.
This was on a unit that had been dropped on to hard floor. It

Good, so the usb device truely does not support 44100 Hz sample rate.
Yes, to use the dmix device you must first find it in the output device
list from squeezeslave -L then use the number with the -o option. From
my list below I'd use -o14 on the command line.
