Sorry for the delay, I've been on vacation. I'm back now (still with no
tunes).
I reset the router hardware. Had to download new AT&T software and
"reacquaint" the AT&T hardware, to the PC.
I checked the MS firewall, it's still turned off.
I checked the proxy, mine looks identical to the screen
this has happened to me a few times, and has stopped happening just as
mysteriously. sorry, no idea, but you aren't alone at least!

I vote for a portrait mode option for the following reasons:
1. When iPad is on the charger, it makes a lovely, large, remote
display (not to mention controller)

I just checked the Biography Plugin and for me it seems to be broken.
All 'links' in the text are not proper links, there are starting
tags but they never end - so this is not even proper HTML.

Uninstalling the flash plugin solved my dsbridge problems too. Thanks

One more vote for a dedicated NAS. The Intel based Readynas' are more
expensive than lowend NAS', but so is the Squeezebox is also a premium
product, for my budget at least.
I built a custom PC for a NAS to run MusicIP, and it worked well for a
year, but some hardware problem completely pushed me
I do want the storage facility as I have 700Gb of music at present.
Netbook would do it but it wouldn't be silent.
I'm pricing up a fanless Atom based motherboard in a Mini ITX case with
a laptop style psu. It's coming up around £200. Admittedly I have to add
a HDD to this.
Would I notice the diff

All I want is a system to run my music through my Squeezebox Duet. This
is all it would be used for.
My main concern is that it would be silent in running. Speed
is,obviously, also a factor but I don't want to hear a fan whirring in
the background somewhere.

However, I have not added a big endian version as I don't want to add
"untested" makefiles to the archive.
