Hi guys,
I seem to be having a problem logging into mysqueezebox. I have
requested a new password a few times and this has taken a long time (8
or 9 hours) to arrive. When I then try to use it, it doesn't work ?
Does anyone know what might be going on?
Thanks
Chris

Did everyone receive a email from Napster apologising for loss of
service on both Squeezebox and Sonos devices? Nice of them to credit a
free months service for the inconvenience.

Does it work with the "Bitrate Limiting" setting in player settings in
SBS ?
If I'm going to stream over 3G I suspect I don't want to stream
lossless encoded audio due to the ĺimited bandwidth.
If you don̈́'t know

Since i started to use Triode's plugin I can honestly say that I have

Try unplugging the router, shutting down all computers, unplug all SB
players.
Now bring them all back up in that same order, waiting for each device
to completely boot up before proceeding to the next device.

Currently XM is limited to a Plugin on SBS server running on your
computer.
Sirius is available as both a SBS Plugin as well as a MySB.com App
online.

The email says:

I was in Richer Sounds Exeter branch a little earlier today enquiring
about the availability of the Squeezebox Touch, and was told that it
was an end-of-line product and that they couldn't get any more in. In
fact the man I spoke to seemed to think that most of the Squeezebox

Logitech doesn't talk about forthcoming products, and they don't seem to
talk much about the future of their products. But I think the salesman
you spoke to was probably misinformed, or making stuff up. The Radio
and Touch appear to be selling pretty well, so it would be silly to
pull the plug on
Sometimes communication from the top can be good. They should revise
that policy.
I can't imagine why logitech bought slim devices- unless it was to take
them out of the running..

Thanks for the info guys. I did think it somewhat odd that these
products were end-of-line. I did wonder if there may be a replacement
for the Transporter though as it doesn't seem to get mentioned on
Logitech's website, and it's a huge jump in price from the Touch. I'm
guessingt that Logitech are

I didn't realise there was an 'SE' Transporter. What's the difference
between that and the old one?
I thought I read on here that the Transporter architecture is looking
dated compared to the Touch. Can you play the new BBC HD Radio 3 stream
on the Transporter?
I also think it would make sense f

Yes. It's very good ;)

I think it must have been the personal initiative of a music-loving
'VP', who has since been sacked.

Ok.
So I built the i3-based server for SBS, and it's much snappier. The
cache synchronization takes 3-4 minutes now.
However, I'm having trouble with iPeng for iPad.
When I press and hold an album cover to bring up the menu to play the
entire album (from Albums or New Music), the menu comes up

Hi Ralphy
Santa brought me a WDTV Live and I thought it would make a good device
to run squeezeslave (it's quite cheap here in Australia now, probably
to compete with the new apple tv).
I have installed WDLXTV (homebrew firmware) and optware for wdlxtv.
I tried running this version:

Ben,
Is the "0.9-129" what you copied from the net? It should be returning
"1.0-217".
Anyway, that is a OSS version of squeezeslave for a 2.6 kernel.
I'm not familiar with the device or software setup - is the "alsa-oss
package" for alsa support on top of OSS, or is it support for both?
Is OSS
