My mistake, I re-ordered the instructions and didn't read them properly.
The "rawpipe" file appears *after* starting "shairport.pl", so maybe
start shairport and then edit the path in "custom-convert.conf".

On some albums (especially live ones), the tracks on the disc flow
directly into one another. They will play this way on the Squeezebox.

Can't comment on Windows based servers but it works with an Ubuntu
server.

Yesterday I experienced strange behavior of my TP.
When changing track with iPeng I heard a loud click from my speakers
indicating a reboot. Instead of seing logitech sign on display, it
showed 'overcurrent' on left side.
I could not trigger a reboot with the IR remote but had to unplug TP
for sev
I've also run into trouble with the Win7 firewall and Squeezebox server.

I have a imac with a Transporter and Squeezebox Touch hardwired to a
Apple extreme Router. When playing music on the Imac harddrive both
will stop playing when my sleep setting(10 minutes)kicks in .My imac
isn't supposed to
sleep when there is hard drive activity,like playing music.

Well, as you probably know there is a slider bar in Settings >
Interface, but it maxes out at 500. You could try editing the
server.prefs file (be sure to stop SBS first) and set it to a higher
number, but there's no guarantee you won't bork something by setting it
to a value higher than the max a
Strange. I just found a bug (or something) in how the settings page
works. If you type in a number and quickly hit 'Enter' the number is
set to that value even though the display never shows a value greater
than 500 or less than 10.
