Long shot, but having the ability to control receiver volume from
iPad/Squeezepad via Harmony Link or Thinkflood Redeye would be a great
add-in - I'd pay extra for it for sure.. (So would being able to
invoke the Startup and Shut Down macros) .

Status looks healthy here. Also, all the software updates come via a
CDN, so won't affect MySB load.

Mysb is just a database - the connection is between your unit and the
radio station. It doesn't stream anything. So, the problem lies
elsewhere ...

I ask because I just recently downloaded SBS 7.7.0 r9550 after being
prompted. After this I've been listening via MySB for about 20 minutes
but it dropped connection a few minutes ago and now can't find MySB.
Seems too much of a coincidence to me, especially as performance has
been flawless ever

I'll say more accurately what happens then - an auto update applies
itself, I generally notice when something stops working properly in
SBS, I see the little message to re-start the server, I do so and none
of the iPlayer "now playing" favourites work correctly any more.

This is a not a BBC URL change issue but an update to the iPlayer plugin
so that plugin will check the different format feeds to get a working
one.
If you don't want automatic updates - uncheck the box in
Settings/Plugins
