For what it's worth, installing LMS 7.7 on a Linux Fedora Core 12 box went smoothly with no apparent problems. This was an update to 7.6.2. Haven't tried everything, but the scan ran quickly (about the same as 7.6 which was much faster than 7.5 and prior), found the whole library and it sees all t

You do not have a WLAN at all? In this case, you can control your players with SqueezeCommander via 3G internet. If you have a local SqueezeBoxServer, you need to open port 9000 TCP in your router and add the server manually in SqueezeCommander. (Don't forget to set a password!) If you are using
