I'm running Squeezebox Server on 64bit Windows 7. The icon in the
system tray keeps telling me there is an upgrade. When I click on the
icon and choose 'install update" it goes away but later returns to tell
me there is an update. What gives?

Good news for all us android-x86 users - it seems to work fine!
However, market filtering is likely to be an issue for most of us as
there aren't many apps which appear when you're using a Joggler. It
appears that it reports almost no features, so any which are required
by an app will prevent it

Great Work Stefan - many thanks for this beautiful app!
A couple of questions/suggestions:
1) I like to play random tracks from a folder - I can do this from the
squeezebox controller by picking a folder and pressing play if settings
are random by song. I can't see how to do this with squeezepad

I've been using your app for quite a while now with basically no
problems (and no major problems now either).
However, one thing I've noticed recently (I'm not sure this is new or
not) is that if I am listening to something that is from an album with
an album artist set with multiple track/song a
big gap from June to October.
Would be nice to see further progress on the app, especially since the
firesale on the Playbook has moved a whole lot of product out to the
market. I've ordered mine, and really want it to work well with my SB
setup.
What's current status?
It does seem that as t
All the archive stuff is now part of the standard plugin - no changes or
additions necessary.

Thanks - I'll await developments. It's always reassuring to know that
you are not causing the problem yourself (especially when you've
recently been forced to move your setup onto another HDD.)
BTW the two files I was referring to were the two mentioned in the
message linked to in post #2 above.
I have a locally built version that supports x86 + arm.
If you want to test it and give me feedback, please write me on

Please provide your deviceID

as well.
If that works one interesting question re

I've just seen that the latest version of the NDK supports x86. Is it
possible to revisit whether SqueezePlayer could be compiled to run on
x86? I can guarantee you a sale here, and probably quite a few from the
Joggler community amongst others - plus Intel seems to be pushing for
more android-x86

Oh, I was actually wrong: the prefs sync has nothing to do with this...
only this timer is used to keep the clocks in sync.

There's a 60mins timer too, running a time check every hour.

BBC have made a change and no longer provides all the programs in one

occupational hazard.
The plugin will need changes. I think Desert Island will be a special
case and the plugin should be preloaded with the archive 1942-201

There's no such setting in the GUI. It's enabled by default. You'd have to
edit a prefs file, or use the CLI to mo

Hi Andrew,
The new version indeed no longer has duplicates, so you seem to have
nailed that problem. The strange HTML fragments are still there
though.
I've PMed you with a new log file.

Don't worry, the right wing Aussies politicians try the same thing with
