This sounds like Logitech needs to get sales up ;-) and have this
business successful.
Than it would be my Christmas wish to Logitech !

True, there are already a thousand pages of threads on this issue if

Does Apple/Airplay have as many third party services as does SB or
Sonos? I'm asking, I don't know. :)
It has more really. The way AirPlay works is that you can stream the
audio bitstream of apps that are running on an iOS device to an AirPlay
output device.

There's a point at which this manipulation becomes absurd. It's like

If you can induce this particular behavior, that's fine, but don't

Just downloaded the MOG ap and am playing it through mysqueezebox.com. I
am confused as to how to play MOG radio stations - I can get them on my
computer but cant figure out how to get them in my favorites or
playlists. Also, is there anyway to verify the streaming rate?
Thanks

Select artist in MOG favorites, right arrow and scroll for options.

I lost track of the discussion
But why not put normal albums on top in artist/albums
Then compilations under or in a submenu as sugested by the op .
Or if thats completely impossible , just remove them you will find them
anyway in VA or albums or by search . But it's neat to also

Not sure what you mean by this.
Win machines tend to accumulate a lot of garbage settings that delay
boot-up. Google Run msconfig to see how to adjust Startup settings.
There's a lot of stuff (Google, Chrome, Quicktime, Winamp, Adobe, Real

I use SqueezePlayer on my Motorola Xoom with great success, but as soon
as I purchase and try to install on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the app is
automatically removed from Soon - even if it is currently playing back

The point of having a Linux based appliance is you don't have to tinker

Hi,
I'd like to see a widgetized version of squeeze player, one that might
create a small widget capable of:
1) turning squeeze player on and off
2) adjust volume by slider
3) showing current album artwork
4) supporting any relevant android widget audio controller

Have you considered writing an app that would stream whatever was

Hi Mike,
no I have not considered this yet.
Don't you have more content on your server anyway. What type of streams
do you want to
Ok , is there not a bug/enhancement req created already ?
Over the years, I'm sure there have been several enhancement requests raised.
There's this one: http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=12676

Parking the discussion about how to tag albums, what really matters here is how
browsing the content of the library could be improved.
When displaying albums for a chosen artist, it is easy to determine for each
album whether it is a compilation or not, so it must be fairly easy to sort by
I have been a SB user for about 6 years and I have 3 classic SB, I have
just upgraded to a Transporter and I am shock to see there is no
discussion group for the transporter. I was hoping to be able to tap
into some of the tricks and short cuts that have been found over the
years to make this
Notice that you also don't see forums for SliMP3, SB, SB2, SB3 or
Transporter The model-specific forums were created starting with
the Duet. Most of the threads about the Transporter are in the
Audiophile forum. Also, searching on Transporter or TP will turn up
what you need.

I don't think having a forum section is particularly related to
anything. And anyhow, the Transporter was never improved after the

The SB2 also remains my favorite product, the Touch is a worthy
successor, the Boom a great add on.
The Duet was a mis-step - as I got a replacement battery for the
controller I realized the concept is not made to last. That will
probably be the last time the battery is available. :(
