Is not the amp a limiting factor if it goes to protection that easy ?
Normally you don't " hear " amps that much when they work properly .
But you sure do when you get close to thier operational limits be it
power,voltage,current or whatever.

re computer literate , why run the server on a NAS ? It is easier and
more user friendly on a real computer, on the other hand if you persist
you will becomme computer literate ;)
I'm sure their are other ready NAS user with better ideas, I run
another kind of server .

error message seems to pop up regularly during the scanning process
(and also today when the LMS was starting up:

That's where you have to install plugins you install yourself, manually.

Yes restarted the nas..I have been down this road too many time. I will
now have to call India and be put thru their regimen..prolly an hour
to an hour and a half then they will asign me to an american call
centerthen they will spend about 5-10 minutes and fix the problem.

That's something I wanted to mention in Erland's mail about the "best
Android device": it's an issue I've experienced across all of my four
Android devices, running four different OS
have you simply restarted the NAS since the scan ( 7.6.1 can report this
stats wrong even if the scan went ok ). if you go to my music > artists
you see more than one artist ?
if that fails try to run a new "clear and rescan everything" .
Otherwise is sugest the 7.6.2 or 7.7.1 version

It's also a very good quality for a first release (sent you a crash
report, but had it only once).
You have a very different style compared to SqueezeCommander (which is
Logitech could take the chip-set from the Revue, screen from Touch and
speakers from the Boom and make into a device.

Buy one of the new wireless N adapters for Tivos. I use one on our
porch, since the build it G wifi of the Squeezebox is not sensative
enough to find our network reliably.
The are quite easy find used on Craigslist or Amazon.

Hello, I've done some searching and I can't find any help on how to
make squeezeplay work over the internet. I have ports forwarded to my
server as Squeezeplayer works fine from my smart phone.
Under networking in Squeezeplay I entered my WAN IP address but it
won't connect. Should this work?
You can also use an iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone or an Android device and
use one of the remote control software such as iPeng, SqueezePad, the
free Logitech remote software, etc.

new...and squeeze server only sees the new albums. I did a...complete
clear library and rescan...and still the same.

mfaine, I think it would be good if there was such a feature - it adds
value to the whole experience. However I think time has caught up with
the concept - 4 years ago I would have said YES. Nowadays there are too
many other options for this to be worthwhile, I think.
