The remote from a Squeezebox Touch will also work fine .
With one exception there is no brigthness button .
This may only be a real problem if it's firmware is very very old ( been
in it's box for several years ).

The Harmony Remote may be the way to go, for $30, I will gamble a reset

Well, I just got back from work, touched the screen on the SBT, the time
immediately came up, and hey presto it's working again. I think Logitech
must have had a few server gremlins this morning.

If you're less computer savvy, there is always the option of getting a
Logitech Harmony remote. This remote has the Squeezebox remotes in its
database. And it is a great universal remote too.

Haven't been able to mess with it lately, but to clarify...as i scroll
down my Artists list, I get numbers, I presume matching the number of
that artist in a list of all the Artists available. Will send logs when
possible

all is working on my end. Are you using only mysb.com or also a local
LMS. Have you unplugged TOUCH, then rebooted your router (and let fully

If you have a universal remote, the Squeezebox uses JVC DVD remote
codes. I don't know the equivalent of the brightness key, which is used
for some alternate functions, but the basic transport and 10 key/t9
functions are somewhat intuitive.
