Hi
I wondered if any progress had been made on xbox360 support with
Whitebear and if anyone had it working? Most other clients seem to work
nicely with Whitebear, but I can't get the xbox to see the server at all
from its Music Player. I've been able to see other UPNP servers on the
same server

Andrew,
I posted about an issue I have (metadata/song is sent from MC to LMS but
nothing is played) in the JRiver Media Center forum with all details,

you could be so kind to have a look when you have the time. Or do you

Are you using the server software on the PC? There is builtin plugin
that scrobbles? On browse interface go to settings \ advanced \ last.fm
audioscrobbler and enter your details there. Then go to the settings of
each player and make sure that scrobbling is enabled. It does seem
that there is

I will look at it and respond in the MC Forum.

No, not using the server software. Was hoping for an app for the radio.

Have installed the server. Found the scrobbler settings (on a couple of
different tabs) and now have it working.
Thanks, that helped a lot.
Yet another program to remote control the squeezebox.

Ralphy,
Thanks for your hard work!
Regarding the Raspbian port for the Raspberry Pi - I can't get it to
work. If I use the -I switch, it correctly reports my server. If I use
the -L switch it sees audio devices. But if I actually try to connect
with an ip or -F, it closes after a few seconds.

I'm getting the same just now (7:40pm US EDT, Sun 8/12). The error
message I'm getting is: "No EA Found. Invalid Combination of Track

1. As above you need a software player on the remote machine.
2. You will have to open ports at home and direct them to the LMS
server. They are 3483 (TCP and UDP) and 9

Thanks for the refer. The most important data I have not updated is that
cable modems are dumb as dirt. I have since changed to Charter cable.
The only g
SoftSqueeze should work for you if you can already remotely connect via
SSH. All you need to do is tunnel two TCP ports 3483 and 9000, which
SoftSqueeze handles.
Make sure you have the latest version of SoftSqueeze. Under preferences,
put your server hostname as localhost. Under networking, hostn
