I haven't done so yet. That project is on hold for a while. But I
thought that SqueezePlay might work well as a player on a car computer.
It has touch interface with roughly the same

One possibility is that some laptop screens don't actually scale, if you
feed them a screen that is smaller than their native resolution, rather
than scaling the screen, it just
The SqueezePlay user interface doesn't scale well to anything close to
full screen on a PC. I created an 800x480 skin a while ago to fit a car
PC touchscreen, which worked fine. But with the purely list nature of
the user interface, I can't imagine what you'd do with anything much
larger. It would

Hopefully we will be able to arrange some kind of migration before this

No, it doesn't adjust bitrate according to network health.

Castalla... do you run Squeezeplay "maximized" ?
I realised that if we set the launch option in windows to make the
software run "maximized", that it will not be "re-sized" at its full
size but only occupy it without resizing so most of the screen isn't
being used. Its rather ugly.
Might be what

My squeezebox v3 display just quit functioning properly. You can almost
see what it says but it's all garbled and scrolling lines. I have tried
resetting by holding down the plus key while powering on to no avail.
Any suggestions?
I erroneously posted this in the squeezebox radio, so apologies fo

Maybe its a matter of resolution... I'm running OK at 1080x1024

here's what it looks like with my recent alterations. You see it goes to
a good fullscreen on my end. does it look anything like this on your

That is odd. The modified skin goes to a correct fullscreen for me. Are
you on windows7?
I am getting OK at understanding their scripts and have altered the skin
to my tastes, having a custom background and resizing the visualization.
So far that's the extent of my understanding of their scripts

there are still things that could be fixed, but for a quick fix it
works. Most now playing visualization are bad too.
You're welcome to give a hand if you can manage to decipher their

Thank you Andy, for all the work you did for the Squeezebox users all
over the world.
I hope you find a job in a company with more employee, product and
customer focus than Logitech.

So sorry to hear what's happening at Logitech. A good friend of mine
works for Ultimate Ears, also recently taken over by them, and I'm sure
he's wondering what's up now.
Hope you have an extremely "safe" landing somewhere!!

Thanks.
Sort of works - but although I get a big font, it isn't filling the
screen - probably my netbook resolution?
Pity you lose the back arrow ...

OK, spoke too soon. While synchronization worked fine for me on my

Pity.

You can try reducing the alsa buffer time in squeezelite. I have good
synching results with "-a 10:4::1", and even 8. I think the player
defaults to 20. If you go too low, you'll get audio glitches. If I read
the 10:4 right, it means alsa sends an interrupt and reads its buffer
every 2,5 milliseco

The two capacitors are clearly marked as C16 and C20 right by the
silkscreeen print on the circuit board, so you don't even need to look
at the schematic.
And yes, soldering needs to be done. And it isn't quite trivial as the
capacitors are SMD dev

Not likely. The Synch is being affected by the computer running
SqueezeLite (software, drivers, audio card, etc...).
