John,
Thanks for the status updates. Very exciting that this is getting closer
to HW.
John, I've been watching both the Community Squeezebox development and
the DAC you're doing for Bottlehead and weighing which would be better
for me. Since my main digital source is from a computer music player
I was able to analyze and fingerprint tracks last night . I haven't been
able to connect to the server for some weeks now but MIP seems to
archive the files locally somehow

I tried analyzing some new tracks I added to my SB library today via
MusicIP and, as other folks have mentioned in the last few weeks, it
cannot connect to the server. I tried both the GUI and the headless
browser-based methods (I'm using Windows 7). So, does this mean that

Pippin, thanks for the reply but I went to settings, clicked the
advanced tab and got a "webpage cannot be found" message; same for the
"player" tab (the rest of the tabs are OK). I am not sure where to go
from here. Any ideas? (I am using IE 11)

I'm curious why you appear to be concerned about resampling when the
output device is an iPad. It's hard to imagine one could hear any
difference between those hi-res versions and 16/44.1 on an iPad (even
with good headphones). Or do you have the iPad feeding some higher
quality audio device?

Sorry but I've not been able to read through all the posts on this
thread, but I was just wondering how easy it is for someone who is
completely non technically minded to get this new community squeezebox
installed and working?
Is it still in development or is it ready for release?

I have Logitech Media Server installed on my unraid server.
I have my music share, which holds many .flac files of several quality:
24/88, 96, 176 and 192.
I want them streamed to my Ipad, which runs iPeng, but have a feeling
that the files are resampled.
Is this default behavior of Logitech Me
