I did just that. I ordered the RPi,
The wifi here has a splash screen on a browser when you first connect if
that makes a difference.

My Radio works fine with Rhapsody at home with LMS, but now I took it on
vacation expecting it would work on MySquuezebox.com. It looks like it
is working, shows playback progress, but no sound comes out.
One time after I powered it on it worked and played one playlist but was
silent after that.

built one from a source on eBay. Although they are overpriced from
there.
Depending on where you are in the world I am sure you will find someone
on here who will build and ship you one for less.

Well, I guess it was bound to happen. The last of my SB Classics from
2005 just died. It was losing connectivity for the last few days and
today it just stopped completely. It won't even power up. I tried a
couple of power adapters but to no avail.

That's interesting since Yamaha claims that the compatible firmware is
"available since the 20th of August"... somewhere on their website or in
their Press Release.
I contacted their Support and will now wait what they reply.
