Hi, Returned from a work trip to find my SB3 (from 2007) dead. The red light in the optical port in on, but nothing else happens. I've tried changing the charger and removing the wifi card. Is this it? Or is there anything else to try? If not, then Raspberry Pi and SqueezeLite here I come, I

I'm currently looking at the market for a streamer that can replace my TransPorter ( shudder ) when the day arrives for it's funeral - one of the players I've read about is a Cambridge CXN - anyone have any knowledge on this ? looks pretty neat and understated and most importantly it comes in

How can LMS manage virtual libraries ? Use the Advanced Search in the web UI and save a search as a library definition. You might want to enable the Library Demo plugin, too, as it comes with a "flac preferred" definition by default. -- Michael

I use a Harmony 650 with my livingroom setup (TV, AVR, Raspberry Pi with KODI, DVD and Chromecast). KODI media center on RPi works great with IR remotes through the TV set via HDMI. I really like the different actions one can configure in the Harmony (watch TV, listen to music etc.). But as

Can someone give me the Pros and Cons of using a Harmony 650 with Squeezebox? Thinking about getting one to tie all the toys together (TV, Roku 2,Cable TV, Duet, AVR receiver). I use iPeng, and have iPhone apps for the AVR and the Roku, but I still need two remotes for Cable box and the TV.

Stick with LMS. Raspberry Pi plus HifiBerry DAC+or Digi + if you prefer. Decent case. Load piCorePlayer - see under Linux. 20 minutes to put it all together and get it streaming. Ok a bit longer if you haven't done it before but not very long. About £80 in total but fully capable of 24/192
